A great fixed blade Bowie hunting knife by Linder, Solingen, Germany, in original black leather sheath. The 7 inch blade is fitted to an ebonized wood handle with guard, the tang secured at the end of the handle by a pommel and nut. The blade marked 'Linder Messer Solingen, Whitby Germany'. The leather sheath embossed "Made in Germany". A great vintage Bowie knife, overall length 12 inches.
