Curling Stone, 19th Century
Reference

Diameter
23 cm (9")
Early Curling Stone.
A fine early curling stone with a 'looped' handle. The metal handle supports are imbedded into the top of the stone, the wooden part has been replaced. There are extra lead weights added to one side of the stone. We are not sure if this is purely for increase in weight or maybe to make the stone rotate? This stone is certainly a collectors piece but also a very decorative piece and a fantastic door stop
NOTE: Shipping price P.O.A. Shipping subject to quotation and will be charged separately.
