Horses Racing Print, A Racing Nightmare, Alfred Charles Havell.
A fine equestrian print by Alfred Havell entitled 'A Racing Nightmare' in original oak frame with gold slip and oak mount. The lithograph is hand coloured and published by Fores. The mount is with titled ivorine plaque.
Alfred Charles Havell was born in London in 1855 and was the son of Edmund Havell Junior, Queen Victoria's portraitist. He was an English artist who painted many fine racehorse portraits. He died in 1928.
