A good 1st edition angling book by Captain Hale of the East Lancashire Regiment entitled 'How to Tie Salmon Flies'. This is a hard back copy with original red cloth binding with gilt lettering to the front board and spine. Title page printed in red and black 'How To Tie Salmon Flies, a treatise on the methods of tying the various kinds of salmon flies with illustrated directions and containing the dressings of forty flies. By Captain Hale, East Lancashire Regiment. London, Sampson Low, Marston & Company, Limited, St Dunstan's House, Fetter lane, Fleet Street, E.C., 1892'. Edinburgh University Press, T. and A. Constable, printers to Her Majesty, MDCCCXCII. The book contains 128 pages with numerous illustrations amongst the text and four pages of adverts to the rear.
