Vintage Hickory Golf Club, Putter, by Jack White, Gullane.
A fine and nicely weighted dot punched faced right handed blade putter by Jack White of Sunningdale. Hickory shafted with old suede leather grip. On the rear of the club head is the 'SUN' cleek mark of White with 'Rustless Iron, Warranted Handforged, Putter', Jack White autograph and the retailers details in Singapore, Robinson & Co. Ltd.
Jack's 'SUN' cleek mark was in use from 1910 until 1930 and is attributed to Jacks position as professional to the Sunningdale Golf Club.
The measurements shown are the length of the shaft with hosel and the width and depth of the face.
