Steel Shafted Tom Morris Golf Club.
An early steel shafted golf club, No. 7 iron, stamped Tom Morris, St Andrews. The club head has a curved hollowed back and is stamped 'Walker Cup Model' with no. 7 iron on the sole. It is with the original stepped 'True 3 Temper' steel shaft and original grip. The shaft is impressed with 'True 3 Temper, Pat28505, REG 733266, Reg. & Made in England'.

The Walker Cup was and still is a golf trophy contested by leading amateur golfers in two teams, United States of America against Great Britain and Ireland. They are held alternately in the U.S. and Britain and was named in honour of George Herbert Walker who was president of the USGA in 1920 when the match was initiated.
