Vintage Gentleman's Leather Vanity Case, Dressing Case.
Early 20th century leather pigskin gentleman's dressing case, fitted with a comprehensive selection of lidded silver topped glass toiletry containers, button hook, manicure set, brushes and comb, mirror, shaving brush and a cut throat razor (razor is marked FERGUS, finest silver steel, forged and real hollow, ground in Germany). The leather case with a fall front allowing the section to slide forward and be removed, this houses the comb, mirror, razor, scissors and nail file on the lid. Once opened there are compartments inside with button hook, two glass bottles with cork stoppers, Yardley's shaving soap, metal container with shaving brush and a manicure set in green pigskin leather folding case. The main case with two small glass bottles with screw lids, two larger glass bottles with silver screw lids (one with initials FFR) and two silver backed brushes. The two brushes hallmarked Birmingham 1936, two silver tops London 1916 and the handles on the manicure set Birmingham 1916.
