Tennis Racket, Propelling Pencil.
A vintage plated propelling pencil in the shape of a Lawn Tennis Racket made by W. Thornhill & Co. London. The pencil is in excellent working condition and bears the Diamond Registration mark for 7th Sep. 1878. The handle marked '24th Feb 1880, BOOKIE'.
The open strings on the racket are slightly damaged and one string is missing.
A very nice Tennis collectable.
