A framed wildfowl colotype print by Archibald Thorburn titled 'Widgeon Alighting', signed in pencil by the artist and with Fine Art Trade Guild blindstamp. Copyright Published 1927 by W.F. Embleton (successor to A. Baird-Carter) 70 Jermyn Street, London, printed in Austria. A good colourful print of wading birds by Archibald Thorburn, thought to be one of the greatest wildlife artists of all time.

There is a paper label on the rear of the frame 'White & Co. Ltd., Furniture Depositories, Name... Lt. Col.T.L. Horn, no...25. Winchester, Southampton, London, Portsmouth and Bournemouth'.
