THE YOUNG GOLFERS, WATERCOLOUR
A fine watercolour painting of Thurso Bay, looking out towards the Orkney Isles, from the northern coastline of Scotland. The painting shows young golfers playing the game on the sandy beach. A wonderful naive painting in the style of William Daniell. Any 19th Century golfing artwork is rare but to find such a substantial piece is virtually unheard of.
