Small Silver Hip Flask.
A beautiful, very unusually small glass and silver hip flask with leather cover to the upper half with embossed crocodile pattern and a push on silver cover for the bottom which functions a drinking cup.
The flask has a hinged silver lid with bayonet fitting. Both, the lid and the lower slide on cover are fully hallmarked 1910 Sheffield, with makers stamp and strong silver marks. Maker G & JW Hawksley.
Very small examples of this kind are very difficult to obtain as they are very rare.
The flask is water tight and ready for use.
