Cast Iron Tennis Umbrella Stand, The Smash.
An extremely rare original antique cast iron umbrella or stick stand. The back plate depicts a male tennis player in relief, inscribed below 'THE SMASH'. The stand comes with the two original removable drip trays. The piece is in good condition with great patina, it has a couple of repairs and has been refinished. A great piece for the tennis enthusiast.
The pieces are cast with the Rd No. 167815, also on the back of the main body and one drip tray is cast 'No. 124'.
