A 'Hugh Morris Benefit Year 1994' cricket bat signed by the New Zealand touring team of 1994, Glamorgan and one other that is unknown. The unknown team has signed the front of the bat but most of the signatures are too faded to decipher. The blade has been cut so as it opens on hinges to reveal the autographs from the New Zealand and Glamorgan cricket teams.
From what we can make out we believe some of the New Zealand signatures could belong to Ken Rutherford, Gavin Larsen, Chris Pringle, Matthew Hart, Mark Greatbatch, Stephen Fleming, Bryan Young, Michael Owens, Blair Hartland, Shane Thomson and Adam Parore. The Glamorgan signatures could be Hugh Morris, Adrian Dale, Robert Croft, Otis Gibson and Matthew Maynard. As one can imagine it is very difficult to read signatures but this is a good bat for the cricket enthusiast.
