Silver Cricket Ball Stand.
A silver presentation cricket ball stand. A great way to display an important cricket ball. A ring supported on three ball and claw feet mounted onto a triangular base raised on three balls. The base engraved with a lion, underneath stamped 'JD & S, 94 F +'. The cricket balls are sold separately at £15 each.
The JD & S is most probably the mark of James Dixon & Sons, but could be another Sheffield manufacturer, James Deakin & Sons.
