Vintage Stafford pottery cricket bowl.
A wonderful Staffordshire pottery bowl with white background with two colourful transfer scenes depicting batsmen at the crease. The bowl is in excellent condition.
The Staffordshire Potteries were the centre of ceramic production in the 17th century, due to the local availability of clay. Many companies produced ceramic items, specially in the 19th century when commemorative and decorative pieces became very popular.
