Jaques Croquet Set In Original Box With Stand
Jaques Croquet Set In Original Box With Stand
Jaques Boxwood Mallet Croquet Set.
A fabulous John Jaques garden croquet set with four boxwood mallets on a modern oak croquet stand. To complete the set there are four coloured wooden balls in the standard croquet colours, six bent metal hoops and one winning post. The mallets are 96 cm in length with black and white corded grips, ebony guide lines with each head stamped 'John Jaques, Made In England'. They feature a traditional octagonal ash handle to help a player find the correct alignment of a shot. The mallet faces are scored with concentric rings that aid the playing of stop shots and follow through roll shots. The set comes with an old period pine box. The stand is made of oak with brass carry handle and brass supports, it is held together with nuts so the stand can be dismantled.
A great garden croquet set.
