Vintage Slazenger Croquet Set.
A good quality Slazenger croquet set in its original polished pine box, the outside it has the remains of a stencil Slazenger's 'Thors' Croquet'. Inside the lid there is a paper label with storage instructions. The set comes with four ash croquet mallets, stamped Slazenger London, with octagonal ash handles (which helps a player 'feel' the alignment of the mallet in play). Four coloured balls in the standard croquet colours, six bent metal hoops, two winning posts, four metal clips (to show the progress of the players ball) and a booklet, Laws of Croquet.
A wonderful set to grace anybody's lawn.
The size shown is for the pine box, the mallets are 99 cm in length.
