Set Of Twenty Antique Vanity Fair Huntsman and Coaching Prints
A Set of 20 Framed Vanity Fair Hunting Pictures.
A great collection of 'Men of the Day' fox hunting caricatures from 'Vanity Fair' and 'Vanity Fair Supplement' by Spy (Leslie Ward), Ape (Carlo Pellegrini), Ao (Roland L'Estrange), C.G (Francis Carruthers Gould) and GAF (George Algernon Fothergill). All the gentlemen bar two can be seen wearing their hunting pinks (scarlet coats), some with top hats, some with helmets. Three are seated on their horses, all with riding crops bar 'The General', who has a pair of binoculars. All are framed in new black frames with double mounts. These are a great wall filler for anybody's home or work, very decorative.
