Hurlingham Polo Photogravure, The Pavilion By Henry Jamyn Brooks.
A very rare large polo print, 1890's, photogravure after Henry Jamyn Brooks in polished oak frame. The print is titled "Hurlingham - The Pavilion", and is an original hand coloured photogravure published by Messrs Dickinson & Foster, publishers to the Queen, 114 New Bond St. W. The title is in italics in the bottom right-hand corner. The picture features polo players at the famous Hurlingham park in London, the pavilion in the background. The scoreboard shows 'Sussex 5', there are players stood around talking, a few still on horseback. The pavilion grandstand is packed with gentlemen spectators.
