Angler's Combination Pocket Knife and Priest By Puma.
The Puma Scale-Knife has a super sharp edged 3 ¾ inch stainless steel blade which has a descaler on the back, you can also use it to weigh your catch up to 12 lbs. There is a heavy weight on the end to use as a fishing priest to stun the fish. Worldwide known as the most useful fisherman's knife with a Patent No. 922214 and created for those who insist on the best by Puma-Werk of Solingen, Germany, special manufacturers of hunting and fishing knives. It comes in the original cardboard box with leaflet which reads "A new combination created specially for the fisherman, in a handy, pocket-knife size. The heavy knob can be used to stun the fish. The pointed, 3 ¾ inch blade of finest stainless steel, with its very sharp, keen edge, is an ideal instrument for killing and opening the fish. The notched back of the blade makes an efficient scaler. To weigh fish, hold the open knife by the strap attached to the base of the blade and suspend the fish from your line on the appropriate notch of the blade, which serves as one balance beam, while the handle of the knife with its knob provides the other. This will give you the weight up to 12 lbs".

Each PUMA knife is factory stamped with a control number indicating in code the year and quarter of its manufacture. The coding system began in October 1964, any PUMA knife not bearing the control number was probably made prior to this date.
