Vintage Style Ski Photography, Framed Alpine Ski Photograph, 'SCHUSS' Murren.
'SCHUSS' Murren, Switzerland, a modern framed and mounted black and white photograph after an original 1930's skiing photograph. The frame is black with burgundy undercoat, the glazing is clarity+ premium synthetic glass. Black & white alpine photos are the perfect addition to any home or ski lodge, so please do check out our other ski photos and winter landscapes.
Prior to being a recreational activity skiing was purely a means of travelling from A to B through the snow, it only started to become the sport it is today in the mid-1800's.

Schuss means to ski directly down a slope at high speed.

Mürren is a traditional Swiss mountain village at the foot of the Schilthorn peak, at an elevation of 1,638 metres (5,374 ft) above sea level it cannot be reached by public road and is only accessible by cable car. It is one of the popular tourist spots in Switzerland with views of the three towering mountains Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. It featured in a James Bond film (On Her Majesty's Secret Service), the Piz Gloria revolving restaurant contains the Bond World 007 exhibit and has views of Mont Blanc. Near Mürren is the Lauterbrunnen Valley, with its subterranean, glacial Trümmelbach Falls.

The photographs are also available mounted but unframed, priced at £49.
