Antique Golf Ball Display Cabinet With Balls From 1890 - 1960.
A Victorian mahogany wall-mounted display cabinet housing a collection of 33 original vintage golf balls. The cabinet features a single lockable glazed door and a faux red leather backboard, designed to both showcase and protect the collection.
The clear glass door provides an unobstructed view of each individual ball while helping to guard against dust and damage. The thirty-three golf balls are displayed using two types of mounts: brass rings fixed to the backboard and hand-turned wooden stands.
Included with the cabinet, the collection spans from 1890s gutta-percha "gutty" balls through to a 1960s Dunlop 65. It represents a well-balanced and varied selection of golf balls, including gutta-percha, rubber-core, mesh, bramble, and dimple examples.
