Ceramic Golf Match Holder.
A rare golf match or vesta holder with colour golfing scene to the front showing a pencil golf bag full of hickory golf clubs, transfer image with hand finishing. The base is marked 'B3249d' and is a great piece for the golf enthusiast. Slight crazing to the glaze. Possibly by James MacIntyre, other potters like Carlton Ware from Wiltshaw and Robinson (W & R) and Taylor Tunnicliff (TTC) are known to have made similar pieces.
