Antique Gutta Percha Golf Ball.
A very good example of a gutta percha golf ball with a moulded mesh pattern made by Peter McEwan. The name P. McEWAN can clearly be seen on the ball.
C 1880/90.
Born in 1834 Peter became the Ball maker to the Royal Burgess Golf Society in 1866 he died in 1895 in Portrush.
