Six mid-19th century deer stalking engraving after Richard Ansdell (an important Victorian sporting artist), engraved by either F. Bacon, W.T. Davey or W.H. Simmons and published by Owen Bailey, 4, Arlington St., Mornington Crescent. Jany. 1, 1851. The size shown is for the main image, the full size of each picture is 18¼ inches high by 28 inches wide and all are with title. The titles being :- Examining the Ground, The Shot, Deer disturbed, The Chase, Waiting for help and Returning Home.
A great set of deer stalking pictures, very rare to find a complete set.
