A nice modern hunting trophy, prepared Roebuck shoulder mount. The Roe deer (Capreolus capreolus) head is with antlers and mounted onto oak shield looking slightly left. Taxidermist unknown.
The Roe deer is the smallest and most elegant native deer in Europe. They are shy animals and are active mainly at night, spending the day in cover.
