Rare Hunting Whip Racks.
An unusual pair of rare oak hunting/coaching whip wall racks shaped as a horse's bit with ported mouthpiece. The pieces with metal hanging chain and maker's plaque to the rear 'Thornhill 144 New Bond Street'. There is a very small kite mark, possibly for 14th of September 1880. They are not identical in size, one is 1 ½ inches shorter than the other.
