Vintage Brass Broadhurst Clarkson Field Telescope.
This large powerful four draw telescope has a sliding sunshade cover, protective lens covers at each end and an adjustable shoulder carry strap. The main tapered barrel is clad in leather with all stitching intact. Engraved on the first draw is 'BROADHURST CLARKSON & CO.LTD., 63 FARRINGDON ROAD, LONDON.E.C.' and on the other side 'J.K.M.HOLMES & CO.LTD., NORTH SHIELDS'. The brass draw tubes still have a firm draw action and the sight and magnification are great. Externally the condition of the telescope is excellent except for one small dent. It is made to a high quality and would be great for any number of outdoor pursuits, such as hunting, shooting, deer stalking or bird watching.
