A pair of Polish ex military observation binoculars on an old wooden adjustable tripod. The 45º incline eyepieces have a magnification 10 x 80, with individual eye focus, they can be altered for the distance between the eyes simply with a turn of a knob. The optical quality of the lenses is excellent. This is a fine pair of binoculars with a mounted Russian quick sight, commanders auxiliary sight (which is a monocular telescope for observation, but at a right angle from the main binoculars for a second observer). This is a fine pair of binoculars with a polished metal finish and handles either side for a greater freedom of movement. The side is stamped TZK L-356, 131 (in an oval), 1954, the detachable commander monocular is stamped T3K, N10581, 1948r with the hammer and sickle emblem.
'131' is the manufacturer designation code for PZO, Polskie Zaklady Optyczne, Warsaw.
