Pair Of Cut Glass Water Jugs

Antique Cut Glass Water Jugs with Silver-Plated Mounts.
A striking pair of large antique water jugs with handles, beautifully crafted from finely cut glass and finished with elegant, silver-plated rims and necks. The glass bodies feature a classic faceted design, catching and reflecting light beautifully, while the silver-plated mounts are adorned with delicate relief decoration, adding a refined decorative touch. Both jugs are engraved just under the spout, November 11th, 1908, along with initials in old English script, possibly JST, suggesting they were a commemorative or presentation piece.
Both jugs are generously sized, making them ideal not only for practical use but also as eye-catching display pieces in a dining setting, cabinet, or collection.
The diameter is 12 cm, the handle protrudes an extra 5 cm.
