Non Prismatic Marching Compass.
A great marching compass dating from the First World War Era. The heavy brass case compass is in good condition with some wear to the original black finish. It's a non prismatic model with a white free spinning compass card surrounded by a silvered bearing ring divided into 36 divisions numbered from 20 - 360. The outer edge of the ring with additional compass degree markings. There is rotating notched top ring that has a thick black line on it used for taking bearings. The compass fitted with a brass manual stop & finger brake. There are no makers marks on the compass.
