Bamboo Shooting Stick, Sports Seat.
A good quality sports seat, shooting stick made of bamboo with folding cane seat and polished brass fittings. There is a metal disc on the bottom to support the seat in soft ground. Stamped BTE. S.G.D.G. The term stands for "Breveté Sans Garantie Du Gouvernement" and translated means: "Patent without guarantee of the government", this is the name of a patent as it was in France until 1968.
Height when closed for use as a walking stick 90½ cm, seated height 75½ cm, disc is 10 cm in diameter.
