Victorian, Carved Oak Wall Mirror.
An ornate, portrait oriented bevelled edged rectangular mirror set within a richly carved wooden oak frame. The oak frame with a warm brown tone, heavily embellished in a classical, baroque or rococo style. It features elaborate scrolling foliage, floral motifs, and deep relief carving throughout. At the top center, two small cherub-like figures flank a decorative urn overflowing with fruit and flowers, creating a symmetrical and highly ornamental crest. Similar flowing scrolls and floral elements continue down both sides of the frame, giving it a sense of movement and richness.
The bottom of the frame mirrors the top's opulence with curling acanthus leaves and carved embellishments, though without figures. The craftsmanship is of high quality throughout and would sit well in any home.
