Antique Padlock Post Box.
A very unusual letter box, post box, made in the form of a giant padlock. The French mailbox is constructed of metal with slot in the front for letters. To remove the letters there is a small door to the rear with a latch. There is a bracket for hanging the padlock.
On the front there was a plate that read 'M. GOBERT R et ses ENFANTS' a rough translation 'Mr R. Gobert and his children'.
