A great fixed blade, full-tang, Bowie hunting knife by Carl Schlieper, Solingen, Germany, in original tan leather sheath. The 6 ½ inch surgical steel blade is fitted to a stag horn handle with guard and a lanyard hole. The blade etched with the "EYE" logo, 'Trophy Line, Sportman's Bowie, surgical steel, #357 Solingen, Germany'. The leather sheath embossed "Made in Germany". A great vintage Bowie knife, overall length 11 inches.
