Vintage Snaffles WWI Military Print, Bon Voyage.
A good Snaffles hand coloured lithograph, WWI military print "Bon Voyage". The main center colour-piece is mounted onto the printed remarque board and shows a French artillery man holding a shell ready to load it into a gun. In the bottom margin is a remarque depicting a team of six horses pulling a gun. This Charles "Snaffles" Johnson Payne (1884 1967) picture is nicely framed in a black frame in original condition, published by Fores of Bond Street, with the Snaffles blindstamp (a bridle bit) in the bottom right-hand corner just above the remarque.

Lithograph in very good condition, very faint rubbing to right hand side of mount board. Frame sound, clean, with a few surface scratches and with new paper backing.
