Vintage Sporting Face Mask.
A good face shield made of mesh and leather. The mask carrys an 'arrow' mark suggesting that it may have been Government Issue. The mask is very similar to a fencing mask but it is larger with the inside having a lot of padded protection. We are not sure of its purpose, it could be a training face shield or some form of singlestick sport, possibly a Taekwondo mask, Kendo mask or early Saber Fighting mask. The helmet does have some damage to the leather bib and to some of the leather tassels at the rear, but otherwise a fine mask that will make a stunning center piece.

We have had an identical helmet before that was embossed on a leather strap 'Lillywhite Frowd Co., London', so this could possible be one of theirs.
