Heavy Lignum Vitae Sphere / Ball.
A large Victorian hardwood sphere with a circumference of 55 cm. The Lignum Vitae spherical ball is wonderfully heavy with beautiful dense graining with a satin finish. Lignum Vitae is ideal for lawn bowls and skittle balls but is now extremely rare and no longer available. The ball still has the lathe marks on the poles of the ball, was turned by a skilful craftsman and still retains its roundness.
Ball stands are not included in the price and are sold separately.
