Presentation Cricket Bat, Gunn and Moore.
A good Edwardian cricket bat by Gunn and Moore, in nice condition with good colouring and patina with silver presentation plaque. The engraving on the plaque reads "1914 R. G. S Sports, Broad Jump, N. Lord, Presented by E. M. Johnstone, ESq.". The writing on the blade reads: 'GUN & MOORE LTD, MAKERS, NOTTINGHAM ENGLAND, TREBLE SPRING, 'The AUTOGRAPH', 'HARROW'. On the rear of the bat is an embossed signature of William Gunn, EXTRA SPECIAL, HARROW. The bat is in good condition with a cord strung handle but with extra whipping on the blade near the bottom.
