Vintage John Jaques Croquet Set.
An exceptionally good quality Jaques croquet set in original green traditional reinforced pine box with Jaques' name painted onto the front and lid. It is with four brass bound box wood mallets. All four mallets have guide lines on the tops of the heads and octagonal handles with cord grips. To complete the set there are four 'ECLIPSE' balls in the standard croquet colours, six cast iron hoops and one winning post with peg clip (the coloured bands on the post indicating the order of play). There are also some boundary yard line pegs for marking the yard lines on a croquet court and four metal flag poles (no coloured flags) to mark the boundaries of the field of play. The lid has a Jaques paper label on the inside. A great set for anybodies garden.
