A good pair of fishing pictures 'Salmon Fishing' and 'Salmon Poaching' by George Earl (1824 – 1908). The gravures on India wove but have slight foxing, largely confined to the margin. Printed in the margin 'Printed by George Earl, Goupilgravure, Berlin, Verlay von Jean Boussod, Manzi, Joyant & Co., Printed in Paris & Published by Jean Boussod, Manzi, Joyant & Co., Publishers, Successors to Goupil & Co., Paris – London, New York Published by Jean Boussod, Manzi, Joyant & Co.'. Salmon Fishing, published April 1st 1900, depicting a gentleman who has a salmon on his line with the gillie about to land the fish using a gaff. Salmon Poaching depicting two poachers with nets catching the leaping salmon, published October 1st 1899.
