Rare Continental Silver Articulated Fish Pill Box.
A late 19th/early 20th century metal articulated fish. The delightful antique silver continental fish is made so as the head will hinge open to reveal a small compartment, possibly a pill box. The head is connected to an articulated body with tail fin, the fish is in good condition and does move. The interesting white-metal model of an articulated fish is able to realistically move because of the 15 high quality graduating metal scales with woven links top and bottom. This is a very tactile fish sculpture that appeals not just to the angler.
