Vintage Canvas Hardy Fishing Bag, Game Bag.
A good strong, light, compact, practical fishing bag made of best quality canvas made by 'HOUSE OF HARDY', Alnwick. The canvas bag has leather trim throughout, one interior partition and a brass ring on the side. The opening to the interior compartment can be secured by a stud fastener. The bag has an adjustable cotton web shoulder strap. There is a leather 'HARDY' label on the front flap and a fabric 'Hardy' label on the interior, this has written 'by Appointment to the H.R.H. Prince of Wales' and his plume of feathers. Hardy's are still manufacturing these bags today and they are very similar to other bags by brands such as Brady and Barbour.
