Four Drawer 18th Century Oak Dresser Base.
A mid 18th century long oak dresser base fitted with four drawers with fruitwood banding, pine linings with dovetail joints, brass swan-neck handles with round back plates and elaborate brass escutcheon plates. This wonderful dresser base with great colour and patina with shaped front frieze raised on front cabriole legs and two simple block legs to the rear. A dresser base can go into so many places around the home, would be fantastic in an entrance hall, kitchen, drawing room, or dining room.

Condition

Great condition for age. Drawer runners are later replacements, rear legs with repairs. Top with replaced planks to the rear and with some marks and stains. The back boards have old worm holes in that have been fill, it has also been treated for worm as a precaution.
