ANTIQUE BLACK LACQUER TRAY.
A highly decorative Victorian black lacquer papier-mâché tray of rectangular proportions with nicely scalloped edges. The centre of the tray is painted with an elaborate bird with flowers in the foreground, the edge being decorated with gilt flourishes. The lacquer has a lovely crackled finish to it.
