Ceramic Golf Match Holder.
A rare golf match or vesta holder with colour golfing scene to the front showing a golfer dressed in a red coat about to tee off. The base is marked 'B3298'. A great piece for the golf enthusiast. Slight crazing to the glaze. Attributed to James MacIntyre.
Other potters, like Carlton Ware from Wiltshaw and Robinson (W & R) and Taylor Tunnicliff (TTC) are known to have made similar pieces.
