A fine and nicely weighted dot punched faced No.3 iron by George Nicoll, Leven. The hickory shaft with polished leather grip, the club head is stamped with Nicoll's 'hand' cleek mark, 'Rustless,3, Recorder, Iron, hand forged in Scotland, Leven, Fife, Scotland' and 'George Nicoll' autograph. The hosel stamped 'W. Parry'.
The measurements shown are the length of the shaft with hosel and the width and depth of the face.
A great golf club iron in good original condition and very usable for modern hickory play. Approximate 30° loft.
