Vintage Van Ingen Leopard Skin Rug, Panther.
Antique Taxidermy Leopard Skin Rug.
A well prepared leopard skin rug by the renowned Indian taxidermist firm Van Ingen & Van Ingen. The rug is with the typical Van Ingen 'snarling' mounted head with material backing and black felt edging. On the rear is the number '2636' and 'Van Ingen & Van Ingen, Mysore'. The leopard is in original condition and with claws but faded. The rug measures from head to tail 96 inches and the width at the front legs is 60 inches.
