A fine, well executed watercolour painting by Oscar Wilson (1867 - 1930),"The young tennis player". The image is of a young lady in a blue dress resting on her tennis racket. She is standing behind balustrading with a country house coming into view in the back ground. It is signed in the left hand corner 'Oscar Wilson'.

Wilson was an English painter and illustrator who studied in South Kensington in 1886 and Antwerp in 1891.
