Novelty Barometer, Tennis Racket.
An antique aneroid barometer mounted onto a wooden tennis racquet. The racket has been carved from a piece of oak and is a half model with good shaped handle, concave throat and carved stringing. The barometer mounted into a turned oak board which is fixed to the tennis racket strings. The barometer having brass bezel and bevelled glass with a centre setting hand, enamelled dial with 'Stormy, Rain, Change, Fair, Very Dry' and fine blued steel indicator hand, great for forecasting the weather.
